tripadvisorWe attended two concerts there. One was fantastic, Motown, and would go whėnever they were in town. The group was amazing and had the whole place rocking. The 60’s I would definitely not return to. They didn't play the most popular songs of the artists and it was dull. We spoke to several people that attended and they felt the same way. There are no bad seats in this venue as we tried several. Our preference was the orchestra. The balcony was ok.
MoreThis theater is actually a Unitarian Universalist church that doubles as a concert/ theater hall during the week. We have now attended two shows here: Broadway Leading men (seats in the orchestra $35 pp - open seating) and Beginnings: a Chicgo tribute band (seats in the balcony $51 pp - assigned seating). Both shows were excellent and prices reasonable. The acoustics are excellent and line of sight from the seats to the stage were great. Seats are pews, which is a little weird, but they were comfortable 'nuf. The overall vibe of the venue is a tad sterile with very little lighting effects, but given the quality of the performance, who needs the light show? Drinks were sold prior to the concert ( beer, wine $5, water) for reasonable prices. Plenty of parking and parking attendants were on top of things, keeping things moving before and after the show making access to the main road pretty easy. Location: the first time we went, we blew past the entrance, not expecting it to be a church. Be aware: The outside sign says Univeralist Church on one side and Emerson Theater on the other. If you come in like we did, there is no other signage. But once you know, you know...All in all: 2 great events in an excellent venue. I wonder what show we'll see next?If you found this review helpful I'd appreciate a .
MoreSix of us went to see a Las Vegas Impressionist Show with the Edwards Twins. First, surprised it's in a church. I saw the pews and thought, this isn't going to be very comfortable. But I was so wrong. The seats were extremely comfortable, which is a big thing for me since my back bothers me after sitting for awhile. The show was absolutely incredible. The Edwards Twins are incredibly talented. Their impressions were spot on, and their performance was outstanding. I was so impressed with the singing. They sounded so much like their counterparts it was amazing. Loved every minute of the show.
MoreI went to a couple concerts last fall there and the first time I went I wasn't sure of this place as far as where it was or what it was like. I drove up to the place at night and was surprised it was a concert in a Church. Not a real big church either. So, if you are going to a cool concert, which they are great concerts, don't be surprised if your seat assignment is in a church. It was just a strange place to have concerts when Vero is a pretty big town. Never the less, the music is great. At least I can say I was in Church....:)
MoreThis a a nice venue and have attended several concerts here. Looking forward to the Association concert this week. Recently attended Paul Yarrow performance. Sponsor should investigate more thoroughly, this was a disaster, left after 1:45 couldn’t take any more.
