DuBunné Day Spa bills itself as a place to 'discover yourself'. Despite it's many nice amenities, it is more a place where you can expect to be hustled non-stop by just about everyone in the place. If exposing yourself to a continuous sales job by pushy attendants shoving over priced spa products and treatments at you during your 'guided tour' then you will find DuBunné heavenly. Whatever treatments you sign up for you can expect quite the assembly line scheduling. Be prepared to be rushed in, rushed through, and rushed out of whatever treatment you are having to make way for the next paying customer. DuBunné has all the personality of the DMV but with out that government office's charm. Also if you are paying by credit card, keep an eye on your receipt. In this day and age of identity theft you don't want to be ripped off where you least expect it.

tripadvisorPros: there are some nice relaxation areas, and they provide complimentary teas, different types of water, trail mix, robes, etc. Cons: The massage itself was fine, but if I'm paying at least $150 for a massage, I want it to be more than just fine. I'm used to paying this amount if not more for massages, so I'm not price conscious with massages. If I pay a high amount, then I'm expecting the same level of service. I arrived early. The massage started 5 minutes late. They also ended it 15 minutes early, so it was actually only 45 minutes. They should advertise it as this and not 1 hour. They immediately had another client after me. I've paid this price if not more in other massage places, and I've always gotten my full hour. Other massage places I go to schedule clients in a way where it's not just in and out one after another, and they already build time into their schedule for buffer. I also filled out their feedback form, and said all of this. I work in hospitality, and the standard practice when someone fills out the feedback form in a negative way- someone from the company calls (typically some sort of guest relations representative) calls the client to learn more about their experience. This was sadly not done with my experience, which just shows that they don't care about feedback. This is incredibly unacceptable, and just bad hospitality. I will not be returning to DuBunne Day Spa. There are other better spas in Torrance and in the South Bay where you'll get your money's worth.
MoreVisited today for the first time as I am visiting family - what a warm welcome, friendly staff all very experienced - nice clean spaces - had the Rescue Me hydro soak, scrub and full body massage followed by facial which was sublime - thank you so much ladies - will definitely go back
MoreBecky I believe that's her name she started off great but then she shorted me my time so I said okay I will go back and go with somebody else and they gave me a young lady name Monique I believe that's her name as well I really can't remember or it could have been Monica and she talks so much I didn't enjoy my massage although I did give them a tip they were really nice I felt like I didn't get my whole 80 minute experience with Becky so I decided to go in for a 50 minute massage with Monica or Monique can't remember her name and she also shorted my time all I have to do is throw my robot off and jump in the bed and then they come back like 10 minutes 15 minutes later and she talked my ear off maybe next time it'll be a better experience I will give it another try my husband had a lady named Mimi he said she was great thank you
MoreBought my wide daughter and granddaughter facials for Christmas. They were extremely happy and used them the first week. Need I say more?
MoreVery nice place with outdoor seating areas, sauna, tents, and heaters for cooler weather. The massage was amazing, the staff were very helpful, and it's just a great place for some peace and calm.
