tripadvisorAbout the only way I can think that the Maverick Theater fails is with its social media. If that were better there would be glowing reviews all over this site for them. We went to opening night of Shakespeare in Love and it was perfect! I cannot imagine how much time went into it all--especially given the dance and sword fighting sequences--and all of the actors were wonderful. We arrived in Fullerton almost three years ago, but had no idea this existed and are feeling a little cheated right now. Thanks to the Fullerton Observer where I've learned about a lot of local events and news, including this.
MoreSaw a show done by Troy High School theatre program, normally the show is done by adults. Annual show around Halloween time.Recommend this theatre for an intimate setting, smaller shows and production. Located across from Fullerton train station. Many restaurants within walking distance.
MorePlays are amazing, We have seen 5 plays, they were all good. Do not know how they keep doing it so well. Last play we saw was King Kong. The show was fun, silly , and very well done.
MoreI went to see Rocky Horror Picture Show and it was so fun! Real people singing and dancing (not the movie)! They got the audience involved and really had fun on stage, so we also had fun. You could take photos with the Rocky characters afterwards, which my friends and I loved.
MoreWe went to see Killer Angels here, the staff was super friendly and play was amazing. I hope they bring the Killer Angels back again.
