I cannot begin to say enough good things about the hosts, Terry and Mindy. They were extremely accommodating during my stay with them. They were readily available and able to help me when original plans fell through. They responded to every question and request that I had in a very timely manner. As for the accommodations, very nice! I stayed in the Cozy Suite (#2). A nicely appointed two room suite. The first room is a cozy living/bed area and the second is a large eat-in kitchen. This unit came with a spacious private bath. The architect is old New England including a clawfoot bathtub, which reminded me of my home growing up. This unit is very well kept and very clean. For those curious about the bed, very comfortable! This unit is conveniently located near lots of businesses and the T, so everything is at your fingertips. If I ever have the need to stay in the Boston/Brookline/Dorchester area again, I will certainly reach out to Terry and Mindy.

Loved staying at this place on a visit to Boston with my sister and elderly mother. It is a short walk (7 minutes) down a hill to get to the orange line. Even with the orange line out for most of our visit, we did fine, catching buses to get to downtown or other subways. This was a visit primarily to see the historical sites in Boston, and this location was ideal and so reasonably priced. The unit (#1) itself was very quiet at night, the area felt safe for three women walking alone even after dark, the furnishings are immaculate and well-thought-out. Shower had great hot water and good water pressure. The bed downstairs was very comfortable.I would not recommend a small child or elderly person having to navigate the spiral staircase down to the queen bed. It was a struggle getting suitcases up and down. You have to navigate the stairway to the bathroom in the middle of the night, so be aware of that. My mother stayed on the main floor on the hide a bed and was very comfortable there, it is on the same level as the bathroom. We had a rental car on our last night and had no problem Finding free parking only a half block away.The communication with the owner was phenomenal. Right after booking and establishing payment, I received all the entry information which served us well. When I had a question after check-in, even late at night (due to a late flight) they were very prompt in resolving our question. Highly recommend staying here if you are nimble on your feet, if not stay on the main floor of this unit.

Organizing a stay is simple and easy, thanks to Terry. My partner and I were able to get our stay sorted without any issues or fuss. When we arrived, we realized the property was a real gem, and exactly as described. I loved being able to focus on the fun stuff, and then come home to a place with character. I loved that Terry was flexible, accommodating, and thoughtful. Without a doubt, a fantastic stay.

When I asked if I could have Amazon packages delivered ahead of my stay? The owner Terry said, No problem. Here's the address When I had a crazy change of plans? Terry said, Let me take care of you.I'll spare you the details, but at every hurdle, Terry and his team were there for me.Maybe I'm just not used to people being civil, but Terry blew me away with kindness.

Every time you come back here it feels like you're coming back home. Great place for singles, for couples, and for families! What is especially significant about this place is the hosts who take care for every detail of your stay.
