tripadvisorI make a tradition with my mom to go to a yearly Musical together we've seen plenty, and in May of 2024 to see Little Shop of Horrors, and what a fantastic show. As a longtime fan of the movie, this was such a treat to see live. The cast was phenomenal and had quite the vocal punch. The set the design was top notch and seeing all the tentacles pop out of the vents and other areas around the stage into the audience was so fun! Don't feed the plants!
MoreThis is my third time seeing this amazing production. The acting, costumes, live music, and sets were all top notch, and the revolving stage made for seamless scene changes. A highlight was naturally the Ghost of Christmas Present spreading holiday cheer. Get your tickets early!
MoreAs we travel from New Jersey, my wife and I like to take in a show or concert, when available, to enjoy the entertainment and experience of local venues. We got lucky and discovered that a play - The Old Man and the Old Moon was being performed at the KC Repertory while we were touring the KC environs. The play was magical, but my review is on the theatre. It was an easy drive from our Hampton Inn Country Club and found that parking is free in the ample lot. The building is beautiful, with a spacious lobby and a pre-show bar offering. The theatre has great acoustics and lighting, and seating is very generous and offers good viewing. If you're in the neighborhood like we were, check out the KC Repertory Theatre and enjoy a great night out.
MoreWe saw The Christmas Carol here again and Marley is still dead. We used to go almost every year but have not done so for many years now. They did a great job as usual. This is a great space, with no bad seats. The acting is always first rate and how can you go wrong with Dickens
MoreThis play was amazing! The cast is talented and the show was just amazing. It has changed over the years with special effects, etc but still the same great story of Ebeneezer Scrooge and the ghosts who visit him and make him realize what it truly means to love and give and give. Such a wonderful Christmas tradition!
