Overall it was a good stay. For the most part the rooms are clean and AC was cold. The staff is nice and responsive. The rooms are spacious. The walls are thin you can hear conversations from the hallway and the next room. The bathroom had some wear in the tub could be reglazed. Some of the walls had stains on it. The elevator floors were not cleaned all weekend. The breakfast is ok. There are allot of options however the eggs were not the best tasting. We used the pool however the jacuzzi was not working. After a long day of being at Yosemite we wanted to relax. There are plenty of places to eat within a five minute driving distance and plenty of parking. Overall the stay was fine for a quick weekend getaway.

The place is old and needs some major interior upgrades. Also the parking fee of usd 10 a day when u r not any where close to the airport.Average breakfast. Not a what typical marriot property. There is a major exterior construction going on at the hotel.

Well it's under construction, would have been nice to know that prior to booking this. The room was so small, ridiculous. 4 people would have been pushing it. Curtain on the window doesn't move, so there is a whole lot of privacy invasion. Then the blaring sun coming in at 7am.Trash left in the room and in ice bucket. Strange bug on the bed.Absolutely complete garbage to pat $10 a day for parking in the world's smallest parking lot.Pillows were so uncomfortable, just empty fluff.Asked for an extra blanket, that took 3 hours to get delivered. Pull out sofa bed is wildly uncomfortable. The king comforter sounds like someone crumbling paper in the middle of the night. The 4th floor smelt stale and old.No towels by the pool. There was a group of people smoking their lungs out when we walked out there. The guy at the front desk with the glasses was nice to me, but I guess he was rude to my husband in another instance. The girl who maintains the breakfast area, man she was annoying. Made my husband feel very embarrassed. Couldn't tell if she was being passive-aggressive, flirting or trying to openly embarrass him in front of everyone at breakfast. All over him smelling the oatmeal. She made it a point, like it was her personal mission to loudly point it out for all to hear. Laughing all loud, ARE YOU SMELLING THE OATMEAL?!? I could tell immediately he was embarrassed he didn't know what to do. Then she openly mocks him again later on and then the next day as well... Very unprofessional. Meanwhile she doesn't say 1 single word to anyone else. And I watched and waited. So the room sucked but that girl (because she is no lady) was the last straw. I will never recommend Marriot.

i haven't even checked out yet but feel obligated to write a review since this has been such a bad experience. i travel to the area for work every other month and stay at a variety of hotels in fresno, including other marriott properties. unfortunately, this has been the worst stay yet. cleanliness and food safety handling is an issue here. my first night after check in there was a *well used* bar of soap in the shower, white stains on the couch that came from who knows where (my colleague had the same issue in her room), i asked to switch rooms but there were none available, or so they said. i have a hard time imagining this hotel being completely booked out during the week but ok.breakfast if you're lucky is a moldy muffin keeping the gnats in the pastry case company (no literally, my muffin was moldy), otherwise there's probably not any food available. coffee was all gone by the time i went down at 8 am, they only offer housekeeping every 3 days but don't accommodate with extra coffee, etc. for longer stays, you have to pay for parking but the lot is not even enforced or monitored, and it's an absolute rip off to not even be having the bare minimum standards met. i never write reviews and am not really picky about hotels but this was just terrible, will never be back and for how much marriott's quality has gone down will probably be switching to hilton

I was traveling for business. I had a two night stay there very comfortable room. Easy check-in people were so friendly and nice there even the housekeepers were fun. The morning breakfast bar was lovely and the pool was excellent. Next time I’m in Fresno I’ll be staying here.
