Arnett-Fullen House Park

Will Arnett, an ostentatious gold prospector from the east, built this shining example of Gothic architecture in 1877. The ornate cast iron fence alone cost Arnett USD2000 to ship from Pennsylvania. At the time, the posh home and extravagant fence cost more than three times as much as the average home did in Boulder. During the early 1990s Historic Boulder purchased the estate. It is open to the public year round, and tours during the summer are offered. A gift shop is also on-site.

This house was built in 1877 and it still looks great. The house was built by Arnett family and the Fullen family bought it / thus the name. There’re haunting stories related to the house. No public entrance, which limits the valu of a visit.

This house, listed on the Historic Registry, is not open to visit. On the web site it states that it houses a historical society. I believe it is privately owned, or at least was bought and renovated about 10 or 15 yrs ago. It looks cute sitting on the corner and you might want to walk by, but that's all you can do.
