This had some good points, and some bad points. I'm going to cover the bad first. This place - the rooms are acceptable but old. I've never seen a bed this high before. I'm almost 6-foot and I had trouble getting into bed. It's very annoying. You will not be able to just sit on the side of the bed like in a normal hotel room - the mattress is just too dang high. The toilet however, is the bed's antithesis. It is made for smaller people. It's too low. More than likely the property when it was built had a bad architect and since the toilet + shower room is so cramped, they tried to make it feel bigger with one of the low-boy toilets. It didn't feel bigger. It felt too low. Good luck with this fixture, and that's all I'm going to say about that. Breakfast was an adventure. On weekends there are tons of kids, on weekdays it is a lot more quiet, not so many kids. The food at breakfast was good and bad. They had pork sausages (this is a plus for me). They also had what they labeled as veggie sausage in the form of patties. The first morning I was probably still groggy and I didn't pay attention and ate some. The next day I realized these could very well have been fake meat or plant-based sausages (the kind with 139 different kinds of chemicals and things that are not good for you). IHG needs to properly label the food, so we know what the h### we are eating. Also - beware the hard-boiled eggs. It takes great skill to mess up hard-boiled eggs, but this chain managed to do it so well. At first they look safe. They are already peeled. Then I cut one in half. The yolk isn't orange, or even yellow. It's like a pale, chalky, light yellow. This is when it occurred to me - they probably aren't boiling any eggs. They probably are buying the eggs from who knows where - and pre-peeled. This is why they have no flavor and taste so stale. The toast was fine. The pork sausage links were fine. The butter was fine. The coffee was slightly better than average. The good - the staff at this hotel was great. They all did great and they all seem to like working together and they seem to enjoy their jobs. This was a plus. I think all things considered - when I view the good vs. the bad, the bad has it. Next time I would opt for a newer hotel, with better beds, toilets, and showers, and a bathroom sink that has normal-flowing water pressure (did I mention no pressure in the bathroom sink)? The area felt safe, and I didn't feel that my vehicle was in danger. In closing I will just say that I normally find Staybridge Suites are newer, but not this one. Good luck with this one. I will not be back.

Genie did an exceptional job making the check-out process smooth. Although it was as early as 4 in the morning, it was fresh breathe of air meeting somebody like Genie to brighten up your day with professionalism and positivity. As for the stay itself, I found it very clean and comfortable, I would 100% come back again. Thank you Genie and team!

We had an excellent stay here for a few days with our pet. Clarissa, Rebecca, Jennifer, and Jose made the stay most enjoyable. They were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed great service. The room was very clean upon arrival. We will be back.

This hotel has nothing to be ashamed of. The check-in process was seamless, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and we would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is great!! Free breakfast in the morning with a large selection of options . The room was immaculate, spacious and has great amenities!! And the staff !! The front desk clerks , breakfast attendants and the entire housekeeping dept were so nice and friendly . Every employee went above and beyond , I would give more stars on this review just for the staff . We will absolutely stay again when we come back to Reno !!!
