Do not pass this “gem” by. Alchemy is more like a museum where appreciative ( and careful) eyes are encouraged to touch. More than that, the jeweler is approachable. I learned more about New York jewelry designers in 20 minutes within the beautiful walls of this corner shop, than during my many years as a native New Yorker. There are affordable designs and some really special museum-quality pieces that will put a gleam in your eye. Worth the detour! Stop in and set up your wish-list. ( today’s Valentines should stop for a custom design)

I had them work on a couple projects. Loved the outcome, and done in a very timely manner. Staff is always great, and very friendly. I would highly recommend them for your next special piece.

Great place with many wonderful things ! You get what you pay for craftsman jewelry, not a place I would just pop into unless I was ready to buy or was looking for another winner of a gift. if you are around the Lovejoy st area worth a look if your into jewelry or a magpie like me.
