If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. Reserved 5 days ahead, called 3 days ahead and requested first floor. They said no problem at all. Arrived early evening after maintenance had left. Ended up in a second floor room - okay, not what we wanted but whatever. Rates were higher due to college football and fall season. Unloaded everything and went to the room. Carpets soaking wet as well as the LVP in the entry. Went to the front desk and he was like - weird - third floor above you reported the same thing. Can’t move us to another room as they were sold out. The manager was at the neighbor hotel which was Holiday Inn. Finally got them to move us to that hotel. It’s completely unacceptable that they would not have known about the saturated carpets from housekeeping - it wasn’t like there was a leak in the ceiling. Something clearly happened earlier in the day. Candle wood Suites was so not helpful and will never stay there again.

Be careful y'all!I was trying to hold out giving a bad review... but, unfortunately, after a couple weeks of waiting for a resolution I haven't heard anything from management.1st- I reserved a King on Aug 4th for Aug 7th. We checked in on August 7th and the man at the front desk said they made a mistake and gave my room to another person. They only had queen rooms left. I was gracious and took the queen. I told him that it was ok and that mistakes happen. Inside I was dissapointed because my husband and I need a bigger bed to sleep comfortably; but what is the point of being rude? So, I let it go. He said thet wouldn't charge me for the King (THEY DID!) and they would give me a discount (They didn't) for the inconvenience. I was impressed and grateful and felt very thankful (not anymore). 2. We were trying to sleep and all we could smell is gross cigarette smoke the entire time. We notified the front desk so they wouldn't charge us if there should be cigarette smoke.3. After checking out i still had a pretty good image of this place. But after seeing that they charged our account for a KING room when we didn't even have a KING room, and trying to contact someone to fix this and not getting a response... I don't like this place at all. The next time we come into Loveland, CO we will NOT be staying here.

The Cottonwood Suites in Loveland were a welcome haven after a RV issue while camping in the mountains. Raoul helped us feel at home. He was so understanding and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for anyone nicer! The rooms are clean and spacious. There are lots of restaurants nearby. I highly recommend!

Raul Lopez was such an amazing help while I stayed here. He’s very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond his duties to make sure all guests are satisfied. I’ve also listened to how he communicates with his guests as well and I truly hope Candlewood Suites appreciates his work ethics !

Winston at the front desk was very helpful. Other than Winston our stay was not pleasant. Soon arrival I noticed how gross our room was. Floor looked like it had never been mopped. Shoe prints (that looked like work boots) all over the bathroom floor. I have a baby who crawls and the top of his feet where black within 10 minutes. I used a baby wipe on the floor, black. Gross. Do not recommend. Wish I booked a different hotel, especially for the price. The card said yocelin cleaned the room, but with how dirty the WHOLE room was, doubt it.
