I ate at a Moe's in Tampa, FL a few years ago and it was very well run with good food and good service. The Moe's in Englewood is attached to a bowling alley that obviously was here many years before Moe's. The service here was genuinely non-existent. Aside from the fact that the place was empty of customers and there were actual employees there, I had to walk up to the counter to order a beverage. Then I still had to walk up to the counter again to order my food. PATHETIC SERVICE! Moron employees that are not even willing to walk up to your table and actually ask if they can get you anything. PATHETIC! The owner needs to look into employee replacement. As a former restaurant owner, I would have fired them quickly. The food itself was good and the adult beverage was equally good. If they do not intend to serve the guests, they should at least put up a sign saying, PLACE ORDERS HERE. Otherwise you might as well just go to Burger King. Lousy service but redeeming products. I probably won't eat here again just because it was picked out by a friend and not my original choice by any means. Over many years this neighborhood has become very questionable with riffraff in abundance. I was not impressed at all. See ya Moe's.

We were visiting Denver for the birth of our grandson at Swedish Medical Center. We were looking for something close to the hospital for dinner. A friend suggested Moe’s and it was a hit. Less than 5 minutes from the hospital and the food was amazing. We had the brisket sandwich, chicken sandwich and a couple of plates. The meats were very tasty and the sides were great. Cole slaw, potato salad and beans. Definitely going back when we come to visit the Denver area.

The meat was dry and so was the corn bread. The room was very cold so we all had to wear jackets. Occasionally, the heat would come on and it would feel nice for 2-3 minutes then cold air blowing. You have to cut through the bowling alley next door to go to the bathroom. I won't go back.

I've been to a few Moe's BBQ joints around town and in Breckenridge also (they don't have brisket on Sat?) The Englewood location is by far the most interesting as it has a small bowling alley on one side! Couldn't be a better fit, BBQ and Bowling! Of course the Brisket is very tender and flavorful, my wife enjoyed the Catfish saying, it is tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Good brews, good food and bowling too!

When the food arrived it was thrown at us without a word. Rude staff and hideous food w/ hair in it.
