tripadvisorThis was my second time in Lancaster, the previous time being in 2002. Driving around the countryside mages you want to slow down and breathe in the fresh air. Our visit happened to fall on a Sunday, so most of the Amish were not out and about doing their daily living. The Mennonites in the area were in their carriages moving about with their families. Just hearing the horses trot down the road was enough to make you stop, listen, observe. The countryside is beautiful, the horses well maintained. A mix of old world and new, living together.Definitely a worthwhile visit.
MoreI wanted to see the press museum but also wound up wandering around the building's arts and antiques shops. It's huge! So many different things - from jewelry and art-magnets to second-hand books, toys, and clothes.
MoreReally cool place. I thought it was one store but when you get inside you realize it's more like a flea market with various vendor booths selling their unique collectibles and items. Really loved this place and I'm glad I went back to it. When I first found it, it hadn't opened yet, so I went and got a coffee and then came back. Definitely worth it! Really interesting stuff.
MoreAmple selection of both modern and vintage items. Friendly staff. All for a reasonable price. Convenient that the Press Heritage Museum is located within the building.
MoreIf you love shopping for vintage items, this is the place. The stalls were nicely set up and there were a range of fun items at all price points. If you are caught in Lancaster in the rain, the added advantage is that all the stalls are under one roof to keep dry!
