We had a 2:30 PM reservation at Domaine Carneros, so we stopped by Oxbow Public Market to grab a quick bite before our wine tasting. Oxbow has so many great food choices, but we ended up choosing Hog Island Oyster Co and it ended up being the perfect lunch spot! They were packed and service was a touch slow at the bar but the food completely made up for it. We shared fresh oysters, my bf ordered Po’Boy sandwich with pickled veggies, and I ordered the grilled squid salad. I was hesitant about ordering the salad at first, but it completely blew me away! The tender grilled squid and mushrooms in a light dressing were so fresh and delicious! Definitely the ultimate light lunch before wine tasting. Oxbow has a wonderful vibe, outdoor seating, and plenty of food choices. The parking lot is small, but street parking is permitted nearby. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re in Napa!

After a recommendation from the local visitor center, I decided to check out this indoor market. It’s a fantastic hub with a diverse range of options, from gourmet burgers and hot dogs to coffee and local sweets.Beyond the restaurants, it’s also a wonderful spot to pick up local artisanal gifts like olive oils, spices, or Napa-made chocolates. The market is well-maintained and has clean, accessible restrooms, which is always a plus when you're out exploring for the day.Parking Tips:There is a dedicated lot with free parking, though it can be a challenge to snag a spot during peak hours. Fortunately, street parking nearby is also free with a 2-hour limit. In my experience, two hours is plenty of time to enjoy a stroll through the market and grab a bite to eat.When to Visit:I noticed a significant difference in crowds depending on the day. My visit on Thursday between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM was very relaxed, but when I returned on Friday at the same time, it was much busier. If you prefer a quieter experience, try to aim for a midweek visit!

This was one of our favorite experiences in the city and in the Valley. We loved shopping for food here and we bought some things that we took home. The quality was very high, and so were the prices, so beware.

Great idea for a variety of quick food and drink. Hog island oysters and sumo hot dogs were outstanding. Loveski Jewish deli was average as no great Jewish deli would serve the minimal quantity of pastrami on a sandwich like they do. One added request, please add Coke Zero to you drink selection

Oxbow market was fun. It has everything you might contemplate to go with your wine. The variety of items was impressive.We stopped for pizza and beer/wine. Shout out to LiveFirePizza and Bar Lucia. Sat out on the patio and people watched as we dined. Would definitely recommend.
