I always have found being in a quiet corner of a library while reading a romance book very calming and satisfying

I am an architectural/design buff, and I think this might be my favorite interior that I’ve ever seen in the US. Very interesting the late thirties/early 40s moderne and deco influences along with the glass depictions that are jaw-droppingly beautiful. The space is incredible. Definitely a goosebumps – inducing sight to see.

I just returned from a Nancy Drew convention at the Toledo main library and am amazed at this wonderful library and their staff. They went out of their way with a photo booth, scavenger hunt throughout the library and so much more. They have the Jennifer Fisher Nancy collection in a special room. Their gift shop had lovely locally made items! It’s a wonderful place for children also.

I've revisited multiple 'Public Library' locations, including this one. So many great memories; from school book reports for education/learning purposes as a kid/teen to revisiting as an adult simply for the fun of reading, reading about different points of view/opinions that have helped shape/broaden my own views + strengthen some I already held to be true. I think it's a nice place to relax, unwind, while doing something wise and good for my mind. Thanks!(Date of visit, not exact).

Most of the library staff at Main are decent; however there is one who is sitting next to me that had ME banned for comparing her to a retired librarian due to the comment she made to security that she felt threatened! Her name in Amnity9sp?) and i would not ask her the time, let alone for any help!
