Booked a suite to stay over night with my sister, autistic niece and daughter while we were traveling. Called ahead 4 times to let them know I was coming in late. 3 times I was put on hold for over 10 min. The 4th call they tried to put me on hold again but I interrupted them to let them know I was coming in late. Guy said it was cool but didn't take my name or anything. Arrived at midnight and they only had one room left with one bed. They said they had some cots so we had no choice but to accept. Took over an hour to get the cots to our room and one was broken. They didn't have no extra pillows or blankets. They gave us the rough decorative top covers to sleep with. The air conditioner was really loud so none of us got any sleep. The girl at the desk got the manager on the phone. I told them I wanted a refund, they said no and didn't even give a refund for the difference of the suite I paid for. Very unprofessional and people shouldn't have to pay for this kind of experience
MoreClean room. Breakfast so so.... gym equipment/gym maintenance a big F! Two treadmills only one works. A cycle and two elliptical none of which work. No towels and no cleaning wipes to wipe down equipment after use.

MoreRegardless of location, my experience is that the Wingate nameplate is the most consistently wonderful stays. I love consistency when I lay my head. Our Pooler, Ga. stay lived up to that reputation with a friendly and helpful.The hotel is near an airport, however it was not at all a noisy stay. We stayed two comfortable nights.
