My spouse and I spent a long weekend (3 days) in Beaumont, Texas. I am Titanium Elite and spend 100+ days in Marriott branded properties. This was our first stay at the Residence Inn in Beaumont, Texas. The property is dated (10 to 20 years old).There is not an ice machine on any floor accessible to guests. I was told by the front desk that the only ice would be the refrigerator / freezer ice maker which the hotel staff leaves off. Once, I enabled the icemaker, ice took many hours to make any cubes. Suggestion: Spend some money and install an icemaker on the ground floor at a minimum.The weekend breakfast was served on paper plates and utensils. The weekday breakfast was on paper or real plates and bowls. The bagels are not split and a meager amount of bagels and bread items are available. We had to request a ladle to serve oatmeal on one day. The juice is not dispensed in a juice machine and was warm to the taste. Our room was average, but for some reason the bath tissue in the bathroom was continous with no sheet seperation for use in a public bathroom.Our 4pm late checkout was changed by Daniel Strother, General Manager on our checkout day when we went to have our room keys updated for late checkout. He did NOT honor the committment his employee made on checkin. I always use the 4pm checkout available to Platinum and higher members. He explained that they were sold out and housekeepers leave at 2pm. Clearly, the online reservation system showed room availability.Marriott franchised properties need to do better.

I was in town for a funeral - had a rough day and was really run down when I checked in. Brianna was the lady working the front desk. She was so cheerful - her positive attitude and genuine smile lifted my spirits. Then when I was walking to my room there was a cleaning lady in the hallway who said “hi” and “hope you have a nice day”. Got into my room and it was super clean. Everything was uplifting, and I’m especially grateful the Residence Inn in Beaumont hires such friendly staff and takes pride in their property. I have not had this same level of experience staying at hotels in Beaumont in the past - this is my go-to place moving forward when I come to town!

Very close to Twin Peaks and great specious rooms. Room was clean. Best thing about this hotel was the pool. On the negative side my room had super cheap bed sheets which were more polyester than cotton. The fabric felt itchy. Not a good night sleep. Another disappointment was a hole in the floor of my room that was carpeted over. The breakfast included the absolute basics. Disappointing for $186 per night. I will try out different hotels in Beaumont on my next business trip

I’ve stayed at three different hotels in Beaumont & this is the best. Although I don’t really want it to get out because last time they were all booked & I couldn’t get in. The employees are friendly & helpful. Breakfast is good. Hotel is clean. Rooms are spacious. Fitness center is nice. They get customer service & make your stay comfortable.

I’ve stayed at three other hotels nearby and Residence Inn is my first choice. Here’s a few reasons why…1. Service - Danielle at the front desk makes me feel at home the moment I step inside. She is professional and attentive to every detail of my stay. Any room issues I’ve experienced, she and the other staff were able to resolve them immediately.2. Quietest - Little to no highway noise; other guests respectful of others.3. Breakfast - The best eggs, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, etc.
