Nice place in bay view. Atmosphere is great, place has a nice vibe to it. More of a craft beer place, but wine selection is decent. Bartender was very helpful. Decor is awesome!
MoreI’ve been going to Sugarmaple since 2009 when they first introduced me to what GOOD craft beer can be. Since then, the place has gone though some changes but the two cornerstones that haven’t changed are no TVs and amazing beer. 80+ Taps, liquor bar, and a cool bar scene with plenty of room go hand in hand with the high quality bar staff they hire. Just a superb experience without the sports bar crowds.

MoreSugar Maple is an interesting bar in the Bay View neighborhood. American craft beer is their claim to fame (right on their sign), and they had 62 on tap the night we visited. Judging by the bottles behind the bar, they can also make mixed drinks or pour you a shot. We didn't because...beer.Interesting decor, not overly noisy, knowledgeable bar staff, there's a lot to like about this place. If you've eaten at one of the nearby restaurants this a nice place to finish out the evening.
MoreA beautiful bar, where the walls are covered in ever-changing paintings by the owner. The beer selection is great, and they always have some good pear and apple ciders and very good wines by the glass. We go for the jazz shows, which are always fantastic and inexpensive to get into.
