this is right on the side of the highway coming into Downtown Oklahoma City ~ (during November 2022) the park was torn completely up and no way of visiting it.

I drove by in daylight and it was no big deal. I drove by at night and it was pretty cool. I don’t know what it is for but I liked it. There is a lot of construction in the area.

The Beacon of Hope is a steel green and white column located in Stiles Circle Park. This Monument is visible from the downtown area, and you cannot miss it if you drive down Interstate 235 – especially at night. It was a strange sight in the daytime, because it is hard to figure out what it represents. At night it projects a very strong beam of light hundreds of feet straight up into the sky. The concept of this piece of art is said to symbolize the healing nature of the Oklahoma Health Center and medical facilities next to it. We would have had no clue what it is, had our tour guide not explained it to us. No need to make a special trip to see it.

Went by this stop during the day but decided to stop back by at night so we could see it with the beam. Well at 10pm there was no beam. Disappointing.
