Driving up from Jacksonville, FL, I had some other stops so I didn't take the tour. I didn't have time for the trail, either, it is a 3.0 mile loop.

The Museum and tour were wonderful! Do call before you go to make sure tour is available. If it’s raining/stormy, they can’t do the tour, which was very informative and fun.

Free parking on site, small gift shop and museum. I paid $15 for a guided tour on a golf cart that took me to a home used as a confederate hospital and William T. Sherman's headquarters during the Civil War, as well as the tunnel itself. The guide was knowledgeable and provided interesting stories.

Excellent tour guide Jody. Wealth of knowledge and the time just flew by. Recommend for all ages and the tour guide with the golf cart tour is the way to go.

I couldnt resist. When driving on I75 and seeing the signs for Tunnel Hill, your interest is piqued. This little sits has some amazing pieces of railroad history that are well worth a 60 minute stop. From the little museum to the actual Sherman Necktie to the tunnel itself to the little covered bridge...there is so much to see and learn about!
