This was my 4th time joining this run and I always learn something new. The guide shares just enough history to keep everyone’s attention. Great way to explore the city while getting a little exercise at the same time!

I've done this run before, and thought it would be a cool Team building event for my daughter's 8th grade travel basketball team. And it was! The team had a blast, got in some conditioning, and learned some history about Boston along the way. Our guide Christen was fantastic also!

Fun and quick way to see the trail. Would reccomend it. Make sure you can run a good pace to keep up with the guide.

I did the Freedom Trail Run in late June 2019 along with my wife, daughter, her husband and my 2yr old granddaughter. Of the my group I am the only serious runner (and history buff) although all of us were in good enough shape to run the short distances required to complete the tour. I pushed my granddaughter in the jog stroller. I hope one day she will look at the pictures and have a fond memory or our fun morning. Eddie was our guide and he was so great. Every stop along the run was so educational and informative. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see the Freedom Trail in a most unique and fun way. The Ferry ride back as also a highlight of the morning. I know I am partial to thinking that running friends make the best friends but our whole group was so encouraging and helpful with having a 2yr old along for the run. A few times these strangers assisted me in getting the jog stroller up and down a few stair steps along the route. From Iowa, to Canada, to just up the road in MA, everyone we met was so nice. Schedule your trip to Boston and include this outing for your family - you will not regret the time you spend exercising and learning about our most famous historical sites.

My husband and I did the Freedom Trail Run in mid June and it turned out to be the favorite activity for both of us - and we did quite a bit. Because the run starts early you feel as though you have the city to yourself. Eddie was absolutely fantastic. He gave us interesting and humorous info and kept all of us together - and paces varied quite a bit. He started this run 10 years ago with his daughters. Learning this made me like him and this experience even more. :)For the price, this is an incredible value. Not only do you get some exercise but you get a personal tour while having the city to yourself, a water taxi ride, a drink and a cool t-shirt. After the run we were walking back to our Airbnb and went past some walking tour groups and I noticed they were so spread out that there is no way the people in the back could hear anything the guide was saying. What a waste. At every stop we all huddled around in a circle so that no one missed out on what was being said. If you’re a runner and want some history do not pass this activity up. It’s a wonderful way to start a Saturday. If we ever go back to Boston we won’t hesitate to do this again. Thank you Eddie!
