My brother and I stayed at this hotel from April 17th thru the 19th. The employees were very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The room was quiet and we had good nights of rest and it was clean. It is located a couple blocks off the I-10 which was very convenient for us to get to Saguaro Nat'l park and other attractions. Thank you very much.

This place is an overall good choice for the area. They have lots of hot and cold breakfast options. The pool area is large and well-kept. The pool was still a little cool in March, but the hot tub was nice. The bathroom needed updating. Paint would help and the vents needed attention. Our TV didn't work. They offered to move us to a different room, but we declined because of our late check in.

Stayed here for almost 2 nights . The rooms were mainly clean . The location is great! We went to the zoo and it was like a 10 min drive . There was a lot of homeless people out around the hotel when we would leave , that was sketchy. The hotel is by some good restaurants in quick driving distances . The room key didn’t work for the side doors, so we told front desk but they acted like they didn’t want to fix it .

The room décor was very nice and modern. The furniture was new. The bed was excellent and the room was clean. I asked for a quiet room away from the freeway (I-10) but I got a room facing I-10. Interstate 10 is some distance away but you do have a clear line-of-sight to it and there is a noisy hum all night from traffic. My room had two queen beds. The room is very large so there is a plenty of space to put things on the floor. But that is a problem too. The TV is actually about 10’ from the foot of the beds so it is a long way to watch. There are no upholstered chairs to pull up in the 10’ space to comfortably watch TV either. There are only a couple of wooden chairs that go with the table. So watching TV was a stand-up experience or sitting on the foot of the bed.The sink area had plenty of counter space and it was separate from the toilet and bathtub/shower which was in another room behind a door. The towels were stacked and folded on a shelf below the sink. But there were no towel bars in my room at all! None. So to dry the towels between uses I used the backs of the wooden chairs in the room and I hung wet towels over the TV to get them to dry. I don’t get it. (Note to Comfort Inn management: Motel 6 has been putting towel bars in their motel rooms for at least a half-century. They are very useful. Maybe you can learn something.) The irritation with this property is that the price you pay is more than the price you booked at the choicehotels.com website. Yup, more! After you reserve on the choicehotels.com website in the fine print there is a $2 “Eco fee” charge. OK, I missed that. But that does not account for the irregularities. There are more taxes charged than what the choicehotels tells you. Apparently Tucson has a $4 per day “occupancy tax” plus some percentage of the bill. When you are presented with the total it is more than what you reserved at. The printed out final bill does not show a $2 “Eco fee” anymore. Instead it is a $2 “Safe” fee (yes, there was a safe in the room. I did not use it. I don’t think too many people do.). So I still don’t understand the bill. Every time I have used the choicehotels App or anyone else’s App I pay what the reservation says I will pay. This place is an exception. I don’t like doing business with hotels that do whatever they do here.

It's not trivial to find a decent + affordable place to stay in February during TGMS in Tucson, but this place served the purpose. Breakfast wasn't anything special, but I did enjoy the fruit every morning. Parking here is a nightmare, but that is to be expected at this price point and location. Only one ice machine, located on the main floor. No shopping or restaurants located nearby, except for a very sad looking IHOP - and if that's your thing, then great - but it isn't mine. The location was good for what I needed to do that week, but the neighborhood is a bit sketchy. The staff was extremely pleasant, attentive, and accommodating. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
