We went for a quick getaway from Portland. Great stay other than the hottub was down :/ However Lauralie in the breakfast made it up to us. She cooked bacon just cause we asked. She was very nice and helpful.

Its just a comfortable hotel.Very clean. Always enjoy staying here. The TV had an issue, but the front Desk quickly dealt with that.Really appreciate the professionalism of the front desk. Very kind and helpful.

For background…I spend over 300 nights per year in hotels across all brands…although I am not as frequent in Choice brands as others…I am a Gold member. I stayed here in August with my wife…and checked in on a slow Sunday. Check in was 3p and I showed up at 2p…and even though the place was dead I was told it would be $50 to check in an hour early! WTF? I have never had any other Choice brand try to do this…the hotel should be embarrassed. When we returned 2 hours later the room given to us had a broken toilet…and the refrigerator temp was messed up and froze everything we put in it. Look…I am not a diva and just want a clean functional room — and if I show up an hour early — unless you are slammed busy…expect a room — and you clearly had it available as you wanted $50 from me. I mentioned this all to the staff at check out and no one ever bothered to reach out to me…which indicates that is just how they do business. If you are desperate for a room this place works…but there are way to many other better hotel options in Eugene with more convenient locations as well. Grade: F/Avoid

This by far is my favorite choice hotel. They make sure to get to know their guests, their likes and dislikes. They know my favorite room and prepare it just the way I like. Greatest customer service I have seen in a long time. We stay here when in town.
