We were traveling with friends from Nashville when one of the women needed something. Forest Hill was not far, and we visited. The young man helping us was exceptional in every respect. Being from California we have grown accustomed to rude young, self-focused people. When we met the Dad, we understood. We ended up buying a number of items. The quality of their home-made leather products is fabulous. The stitch work, the attention to detail and the quality of the leather spoke to much higher prices than they asked. There was also an eagerness to alter a product so it worked better for the customer. I give them my highest rating. Christmas approaches, and you can't go wrong with Forest Hill Leather Craft!

We saw an ad for this business in the Amish County News and decided to see what kind of belts they had. We were pleasantly surprised to see not only belts but purses, bags, bracelets and even collars and leashes for pets. Excellent workmanship and quality! My husband bought several belts and they are high quality and are a wearing very well (variety of colors and styles) and the prices are better than at major department stores. I had a custom pocketbook designed and it exceeded expectations (everything and anything I want in a bag and more -- tons of extra pockets and where I wanted them)! And the price for a custom bag was very reasonable. I will do it again and I highly recommend this shop for leather goods.
