We enjoyed stopping at Round Rock Honey while on a trip to Austin. The store is VERY small, so they don't have a lot for sale. What they do have is nice and the honey is very tasty!!!

My family is one of those nerdy sorts of families that like to learn about pretty much anything. Tours on how stuff is made have always been areas of particular interest and we were not disappointed. We watched a short video and listened to a presentation by our guide about the honey making process, then went into the bottling area to watch fresh honey be bottled, which we were then able to purchase directly off the line. If you really want to get involved, they also offer beekeeper-for-a-day experiences!

Very informative, Learned a lot about bees, honey making, and the industry. Got to taste a few types of honey. Love the science used by this company.. and testing and analysis by Texas A&M scientist.

We did the in-house tour on this visit. The short video and information by the owner were very interesting. After the information you get to visit the production line and see the honey being bottled. They also offer honey for sale as well as other honey related products. It was fun to get to buy honey that we watched being bottled. They also have a Bee Keeping coursewhere you get to suit up and go out to the hives and learn more about bee keeping. We plan to try that on our next visit.

We learned all about hives, bees and their culture, how honey is made, differences, and even got to bottle some of our own honey. It was interesting and fun. I liked that they answered lots of questions and we got to taste different honeys.
