This gallery has a wide variety of items from all kinds of local artists in a loosely displayed setting. You will pay for the art, not the show here. Akrona offers a framing service, which is done very professionally, and staff does a good job of making recommendations for the framing and matting choices.

We had several things matted and framed and it took a LONG time to get the finished product. Our mistake was not asking the price when we contracted for the pieces and it was expensive. However it was professionally done.

This is a fun gallery space that's located in a historic Tudor home on West Market Street, which makes it a great space to explore and relax - especially if they are hosting a fund raiser or special event, which they do from time to time. They have a wide range of eclectic art on display, and the proprietors are happy to discuss their offerings as well as their services, like framing, etc.

Fascinating gallery in the old Ayres Library. Darlene, the proprietor, has left much of the original building and was a wealth of information on the history of the building. Her gallery is full of beautiful, creative, interesting and unusual art. When we were there a children's art class was underway and the teacher was so positive, helpful and encouraging with the students. This place is a great find and I hope to go back!
