West County Center is in a great location in the middle of West County, but it is not as large as other malls in St. Louis. There are two department stores, Famous Barr and JCPenney, along with a children's museum, six restaurants and more than 50 specialty stores. This mall is popular with families and kids. There are areas in which to sit and lounge on benches in the center of the mall and next to fountains.

tripadvisorWas there yesterday. Large mall. I don’t think I saw any empty stores. There is a food court. There was also a pizza restaurant. We missed it because it was off to the side.
MorePandora The store was very busy when I visited with my sister and niece, which we understood. We stepped up to the counter after two customers walked away, but while we were browsing, a sales associate looked at us and said, “Ladies, could you move? We’re working here.”I get that they were finishing a transaction, but the tone was unnecessarily rude. A simple, polite explanation would’ve gone a long way. To make matters worse, while we were looking at charms in the case, another associate reached in, grabbed an entire tray we were viewing, and walked off without saying a word.We had every intention of making a purchase, but after those interactions, we left. Customer service should never make shoppers feel like an inconvenience.
MoreMade purchases BUT cosmetics & fragrances were so close to the door that it was UNCOMFORTABLE getting in. No floor staff in diamond and men's watches. Self serve in women's boots too, good and only person at register. Score: train wreck considering fight to get into poorly designed mall.
MoreThe food court here has a high turn over. The mall is well kept and nice looking. It’s busy on weekends. Once Eddie Bauer left I find fewer reasons to return.
MoreI was going in the elevator by the bathrooms on the second floor I went in and the door closed and the doors didn't close completely that was scary.
