tripadvisorEverytime I go the play are laugh out loud funny! I enjoy them every time. I am going to ask for season tickets for christmas.
MoreI attended the Sunday matinee of “Summer Shorts” and was quite pleased with the individual pieces. Funny, unexpected and occasionally zany. Perfect summer fare. The theatre itself is comfortable and appears to have some updated lighting and sound equipment. None of this work was heavy lifting, again I’ll rcommend as perfect summer fare.
MoreThis is our 3rd season of the Phoenix and every play is fabulous. The recent show known as “The Foreigner” was fabulous and so funny. The key role was perfectly selected and his work reminded me of a young Jerry Lewis. All shows have some sort of comedic theme.Ample parking.
MoreHaving seen shows all over the world, I can tell you the the quality of the shows presented by The Phoenix Theatre are top notch. They pick the funniest, most poignant, thought provoking plays around. From first run world premiers to long forgotten knee slappers, all preformed by absolutely terrific professional actors. They have a very comfortable theatre, without a bad seat in the house, all without the parking and traffic hassles of Seattle. The even have a cosy bar with lots of drinks, alcoholic or not, cookies and coffee to enjoy before the show or during intermission. If you like theater, do your self a favor and see a show here. You won't regret it.
MoreBy far the best deal in the greater Seattle area. The Phoenix Theatre has been my favorite small theater to go to for many years. The plays are filled with humor and the acting is beyond what you would ever expect in a small company. I love bringing guests to this theater because it's a given that they are going to have a fun night filled with laughter and surprise. I have season tickets to the major theaters in town as well, but for a non stress night, the Phoenix gets two thumbs up. Next to no traffic and the ample parking is free. It just doesn't get better than that!
