Quirky converted cellar, this is never going to be a brand that we see everywhere. Music was very eclectic, Afro-Caribbean to John Lennon to jazz to blues which was strange for a sake bar but a welcome mix nonetheless. Saying all that, this guy knows his sake, it's really interesting to learn a little about sake and the sake itself was totally excellent. An excellent way to end the evening in a different way.

This place reminds me of a wine tasting, only better. The owner is very friendly & knowledgeable about each item in his bar. My husband & I each enjoyed a flight. And also had a BLUE beer (made from blue rhubarb) & that was amazing too. Mind you- I have never been crazy about sake in Japanese restaurants because it tasted like pure grain alcohol. But I absolutely LOVED each sake I tried. This bar would be perfect for a girls night out! (or date night or guys night out too)

An extremely recommended sake bar to visit and it is well worth a trip here. It is small inside yet has a large selection and an extremely helpful and knowledgeable manager who will walk you though your varieties and choices explaining their differences. I felt genuinely welcomed and very much enjoyed my experience here tasting and hearing about the sake making experience and culture. Clean and well stocked shop with a nice bar showing Japanese sumo wrestling and having various sake literature on hand to read and it also feels just relaxing and comfortable to be here. Prices for all budgets and all questions can be answered.

We enjoyed tasting 6 different sake and learned about the ways this drink is made. The owner was helpful and informative and made this experience even more special by sharing his passion with us.

Small sake bar with an owner passionate about sake. The owner guided us in the tasting and presented information on the making of sake. There is a choice of two different flights. We ordered one of each and then picked our favorite from there. Bottles are for sale there too. The owner has traveled and lived in Japan and is fun to talk to. Was a wonderful time on a Saturday afternoon. Not far from the waterfront and some of the cleanest restrooms I have ever seen in a bar! Very laid back, worth a visit.
