tripadvisorClean no frills room. Onsite Coffee bar which serves Starbucks closes way too early, I think 4. Only one usb 2 port hub by the pull out. Everything else needed an adapter, no lightning ports and loose outlets. Fridge did not work put my soda in there and hours later was as if I left it out. The ac is LOUD, makes all kinds of weird noises, it’s old school unit controlled by a thermostat that if you don’t move it won’t keep up. Bathroom was decent size plenty of towels. Shower was good nice water pressure. I hate that they didn’t have hand soap in a pump, the bars provided fell apart it didn’t feel clean. Bed was ok pillows just need to be thrown out, almost no filling or support. Pool looked nice, hallways were hot. Overall I think, it’s overpriced for what you get. Not very good options for grab and go hot breakfast. They did have a sit done resturant and the lobby had plenty of seating and booths.
MoreWe interacted with several staff and they were all very nice and helpful. The outdoor area was pleasant. A pool, lounges, plenty of chairs. It’s very convenient to the airport in one direction, and Tempe down the road in the other direction. You hear lots of planes if that bothers you, but after a few, I quit noticing them.
MoreGood hotel, clean rooms and pleasant staff in my opinion. I usually stay in Tempe but you’re not far from there. Nothing around the hotel as far as food options. Besides that good stay overall. Especially if you need to get to the airport.
MoreThe hotel is quite outdated, with popcorn ceilings, wall-unit air conditioning, and a basic tub/shower setup without a handheld shower. The main carpeted areas were heavily scented with an overpowering odor—somewhere between a strong cleaning solution and an air freshener—which made me wonder what smells they might be trying to mask.Noise was a major issue. You could hear every airplane landing and taking off, along with rolling trash bins and carts, car alarms, and people talking in the parking lot. It was not a restful night’s sleep. The restaurant and bar were underwhelming. We ended up going next door to the Hilton for drinks and dinner, which had a much better atmosphere and far more appealing menu options.
MoreGreat hotel in the centre of Phoenix. The hotel is large but the staff are very attentive and the rooms are well appointed with all the things you need for a great stay.
