I wasn't expecting to purchase anything when I walked in. My friend and I were just walking around The Hill neighborhood and decided to stop in. They offered us a tour and it was nice to see how the soaps are made. Again I'm usually an Olay user and it has been fine for me. I did buy a bar of the chocolate soap and a holder. I wasn't expecting it to be any different than commercial soaps. I can happily say I was wrong. Tried it today and it lathers so nicely and cleans off well. I tried to go on the website to order more but it isn't working right now. I do have some samples also so I can't wait to try those. I might be a convert to natural soap.

Herbaria is a treasure and a Must See Stop in St. Louis! GREAT handmade soaps & much more!I visited the Herbaria shop on 2016 Marconi Avenue in St. Louis, MO on October 13th, 2024 with my sister, and consider it to be one of many must see stops in St. Louis's Little Italy neighborhood. Just walking through this shop feels like a soothing, healing experience. Herbaria produces and sells handmade soaps, candles, fragrances, towels, and many other items. It's a delight and inspiration to see and meet the people working in this shop. It's obvious that everything is made with great love and care, and all of it is displayed so beautifully. I bought several soaps and two wonderful towels, and look forward to visiting again during future trips to St. Louis. Thankfully, they also have a magnificent website (https://herbariasoap.com/).

We thought we were going to a cooking herb store, but that was not the case. This was handmade soaps and nature made products. Neat show. They will even give you a short free tour and sample soaps to take home with you. A neat place.

Walking by the aroma beckoned us to explore and we couldn’t resist discovering a healthy new soapy resource. Our experience with the staff was great and educational and the experience is good for all ages!

We walked in and the owner immediately engaged us in conversation and showed us how they make their soaps. A very interesting store with lots of different products.
