We have been to cabaret's in NYC (including the Carlyle Room) and a night out at the Magnolia Room in Norwalk provides an evening you won't forget. First, the room is classy, comfortable and intimate. The entertainment is first class - show tunes, Gershwin, Cole Porter and the like.....you can have dinner upstairs then the show or eat downstairs and hit the show afterward. Reservations strongly suggested. We have attended half a dozen times or more since they opened. Kenneth Gartman who runs the whole thing is wonderful. Do yourself a favor - GO. No huge crowds or screaming people or loud head banging music - just a PERFECT night out with the classics!

A wonderful small, brick lined room where good food is served and a one hour show is presented that is delightful entertainment with everyone listening. Last night an amazing singer, Jeff Harnar presented various Cole Porter songs along with fascinating stories about Cole. Next week our favorite pianist, Chris Coogan and singer Michele Grace will undoubtedly supremely entertain the 60 fascinated listeners with there amazing harmonies and clever presentations from the great American Songbook.
