This place was nothing short of amazin. I've had plenty of massages with this one being the best. It was my bestfriend birthday so we got the couples Combo. which is 30min foot massage and 30min back massage. And OMG, that time was soo worth it. I really enjoyed my massage and my friend did too. i didn't get to catch anyone's names but everyone was was so friendly and professiona. This place is right beside my best friends house, we will definitely be returnin. And I definitely recommend this place over any other massage place

I rec'd a gift certificate and called to book the appointment and was told that if we cancelled the gift certificate would be voided. What kind of customer service is this? Things might come up that cause appointments to be moved. I was so put off by this I didnt book for a while and then when I did I was told my certificate was expired and was only good for 50% of the value. I will NEVER use this place again.

Long story short, this company basically stole $15 from us. These people do not know how to run a business or treat a customer right at all. As a christmas present I bought a giftcard for a couples massage. We scheduled our appointment for deep tissue massages. There was an extra fee for it, which was expected. $30, no big deal, we paid it. Day of the appointment we find out one therapist did not do deep tissue, and the other basically refused to do it. We both got the standard swedish massage, which was average, but not terrible. Afterwards, the front desk refused to give us the 30 dollars back, and we were told we could only get the money as credit. We weren't happy about it, but we accepted. A few months later another massage was scheduled to use the $30. To our surprise at the appointment, the $30 that was paid extra with CASH was expired even though there was NO EXPIRATION DATE written on the card. The best they said they could do was $15 credit, and we would have to pay the other $15. This company refused to give a cash refund because they hope to scam you out of the money later. They screened our calls and wouldn't answer the phone, and the owner refuses to talk. We wouldn't normally be this petty over $15, but they just totally refuse to listen to reason at all. It's the principal of it and BASIC ETHICS. My wife and I are both Doctors, and we both refer patients to massage therapy. We would not refer to this place if it were the only place in Hampton Roads. You're better off getting a $5 massage in a back alley, as you'll be less likely to have your money stolen for services not rendered.

We scheduled a couples massage and had the most amazing experience at knuckles 'n' knots day spa. The staff was extremely personable and helpful. The massage technicians were very knowledgeable and competent with their techniques. They made or muscles feel rejuvenated again. Would highly recommend this day spa to anyone visiting the area.

I love massages, but will never spend another penny at Knuckles & Knots. My boyfriend got me 4 Deep Tissue massages that expire Aug 2, 2017 according to my gift certificate. First time I go in, they realize one digit is missing on my gift certificate and make me wait until they figure out a solution, which was super awkward. They resolve it. The second appointment- same issue! I explained how this happened last time and that the Chesapeake receptionist had to call the Virginia Beach receptionist to figure out the last digit. Again, awkward and a waste of my time. Third visit, They mischeduled my appointment at the wrong location and tell me if I don't drive to the other location, I will lose my massage credit. After that massage, I'm told my gift certificate is expired. I ask the Virginia Beach receptionist to have the manager call me to sort this out and of course the manager does not call me back. The receptionist calls me back to inform me my gift certificate is expired despite my certificate saying I have another month left to use it. Every single visit over the last 6 months have had issues and nobody answers the phone when you try to make an appointment. You have to wait for them to call back at their convenience. Terrible business practices.
