The bed was so uncomfortable and had a huge lump in the middle so I couldn’t even sleep. The king bed is really two twins pushed together. The worst part was that they’ve taken away the ‘continuous fan’ option on the AC so every time the obnoxiously loud unit shuts off, it jolts you awake at night. Taking the option away but still having it show on the unit felt like torture lol. Also it feels stupid to pay for parking when it’s a gigantic lot and not even secured. If I hadn’t booked this with points I’d be a lot more upset.

Location to airport is great. Hotel offers complimentary shuttle service. Rooms are spacious and clean. Shopping is located across the street.

In short: typically I really enjoy a Hyatt Place, and I was hopeful my stay would either measure up to my prior experiences or at least come close. Unfortunately, it was not the case. The room was dark, old-feeling, and a tad shabby, and the bathroom tile grout was black with mold. It was literally the first time I was loathe to take my shoes off in a hotel shower -- I wished I had flip flops!! I would describe the rest of the room as clean-adjacent. I did use the shuttle twice, as I returned my rental car as soon as I checked in to avoid doing so at 5am before my early flight the next day. Even though I arrived at the shuttle queue first, the driver had me wait because a flight crew from an airline was arriving soon. I get that a flight crew is a steady, important part of an airport hotel's business model, but it felt fairly lousy to realize that I was second rate. The shuttle at 5 am was smooth and simple, though, and I appreciated the service. The drivers were both safe and pleasant.
