A place that can make any admirer of books feel content, the Centennial Hills Library is a state-of-the-art facility under the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District. Located near the northwestern edge of the city, this library has a rather functional appearance, but, as they instruct one to not judge a book by its cover, so too, perhaps, one should not judge the keeper of the books. Inside, the 32,431 square-foot (3012.9 square-meter) library boasts an impressive collection of books, periodicals, magazines, CDs, and more. Also, the library can be rented for events.
