Reviews
tripadvisorGreat hotel, amazing service and staff. Especially from Jonell! I’ve never had an employee from any establishment be as genuine and helpful as him!
MoreTruly wonderful hotel. I have stayed here 4 times this year in Spring, twice in Summer, and most recently in October. Park Hyatt is getting it right with every detail. It is clear that the staff have received excellent training as they all operate similarly. By that I mean, they have excellent attention to detail, they care about the customer, no request is too much, they are polite, friendly and kind to interact with. The hotel is a peaceful oasis in the middle of DC. Perfectly located in West End, an upscale but calm neighborhood 5 minutes walk from Georgetown. If you like running, you can join the Rock Creek Trail within 3-4 minutes, or you can run down towards the Potomac River and connect to the National Mall, the monuments or Hains Point. Rooms are spacious and well designed. Big bathrooms with rainstyle showers and tubs. Big sink area and walk in closet in the junior suite. Good desk space for work calls in the room, as well as a well distributed bedroom and separate living room. Blue Duck Tavern is 10/10. A classy restaurant with an excellent menu. Breakfast here is a treat every single day. In the warmer months you can have breakfast outside, or a wine in the evening surrounded by nice plants and birds - it doesn't feel like you're in a city which is ideal for those looking to recharge in between work conferences or tourist days out. Dinner is also great in Blue Duck Tavern. Good wine selection, good variety of dishes and prepared to a very high level. Lounge and bar area is good for client meetings or work calls. The bar staff are classy, they never push you to order anything if they know you're perched with your laptop focused on business. This approach of not selling or trying to squeeze the customer goes a long way. These details keep me coming back. Some hotels want to make another $10 on a drink, whereas Park Hyatt DC seems to remember that getting a guest back for another 1 week stay is more important. Staff have been consistently great during every stay. I travel a lot for work and try to find hotels like this where I feel at home for a few days on the road. For people like me trying to run a business, prepare for high pressure meetings the next day, this is exactly what I need, and I seriously appreciate this good service.
MoreNice hotel with a convenient location in Northwest DC. If you are just sight seeing, you could choose a hotel closer to the Washington Mall but there seems to be more nightlife and restaurants over in this area with easy access to Georgetown. The front desk and the restaurant staff were very nice and helpful. When we checked in, the valet in front seemed to be missing but other than that it was pretty seamless. Our room was nice and clean and overall we had a good experience at the Park Hyatt.
MorePhenomenal hotel! we loved our stay. It was so comfortable, they welcomed us, upgraded us. Love it every time, we’ve stayed here multiple times now. We know what to expect and it’s always just as good or better. Such a peaceful environment, very relaxing
MoreThe hotel is centrally-located and for the US/DC reasonably priced. the hotel is modern and in good condition and the rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed. There is a nice gym, even if the treadmill TVs were pretty useless, and a small pool and jacuzzi. Service was good, friendly and professional but totally impersonal. No one initiated any contact at any point.
