The Price was nice They are remodeling the place and it looks great I got to stay in a new Room by the laundry room and it was so clean... my family was blessed... we were between moves so it was much needed Will be going back.... You're looking for a budget-friendly hotel That is pet friendly....Also this is your one right next to the airport in lafayette... Super convenient

This place is absolutely atrocious. Filthy, mold on ceilings, hallways reek of weed, sketchy people in parking lot, screaming and fighting heard all night long. Terrible. We were forced to stay here during our move. July of 2020. We booked online cluelessly as we had moved out of our rental home and our new home was still undergoing some repair. No problem I’m thinking, we’ll just stay at a hotel for a week and it’ll be like a mini vacation! Oh so wrong. First, I called the corporate reservations number to confirm our dog was welcome in the hotel. Representative says absolutely no problem, no charge for the dog. Cool. So we arrive on our date of reservation, we booked a smoking queen room with kitchenette. We’re informed that they don’t have a smoking room available (first lie, the rooms are all smoking) and they’d move us when one becomes available. No problem again, I thanked her and we parked and go up to the room. And omg. We open the door to the stairwell and are SMACKED with the stench of weed smoke and sweat. As we make it up to the second floor you can literally see a HAZE smoke in the hallway. Got to the room and it’s pretty awful. Bathroom is filthy, kitchen equally dirty, no plates, no cups, no silverware, cabinet door is broken off, bed is okay…sheets and bedspread are gross. I’m a clean freak so before we unpack our bags I disinfected the entire room with bleach, cleaned top to bottom, washed the sheets and spread and put our own linens on the bed. I even washed the shower curtain and scrubbed the counters and stove top in the kitchen. now and only now I felt safe to have my belongings touch the surfaces in this dump. We had to unfortunately extend our stay by two days due to painting at the house. I come down to let my dog out and the atrocious Indian woman remotely locks me out of my room (already paid for two additional days mind you) and says we never paid pet deposit (I called the corporate reservations number, they said no pet fee, pets welcome.) and was told if I didn’t pay $125 I’d be unable to regain access to my room. I mean wow! Like moving with a dog isn’t hard enough, you would actually threaten me with holding my stuff hostage until you take a fee that your corporate office says the chain doesn’t charge? I paid , went to the room, called my partner and told him we’d be leaving regardless of how not ready the house was. I’m sorry it’s so rambling long but I’m telling you, do not stay here. It is unsafe, filthy, full of sketchy people and dealings and the owners are trash. Stay far, far away!

Couldn't take a shower because the roaches were using it. Fridge was clean but not fully functional. Cracked floor tile. Writing on the wall. Dirty hall carpet. Cigarette burns on bedspread. No security. Open doors from the outside.

I am from Europe and traveling a lot, but I never seen anything like I saw in your hotel Studio6, Broussard, let me tell that this was my worse experience ever in my life starting with hotel room ending with rude staff members. The room was dirty, dust everywhere, someones nails on the floor, it says “Full kitchenette” online - nothing like that, there was one spoon, one plate, and one fork in room for for people, no mugs, pan or anything like that, dirt and hairs all arround the bathroom, we tried to change the rooms, so we checked the other room and guess what - all the same, even worse there was 4 lamps in the room, but only one of them working, so there was no point to move rooms. I asked in the reception someone to clean the room while we are away (stayed overnight in Houston) they said “yes” but never did, in the end there was someone to clean the room, housekeeping asked us to leave the room while they are cleaning, we came back and someones nails and hair were still there (everywhere), when I said that there is still full of dust and dirt the mexican guy was angry, if you would saw his face coming back with brush in his hands. But i am alergic to dust. I choosed this hotel because it was very close to my work, when I was back to work I asked housekeeping to always leave my room as last one to clean because i was doing night shifts, but they were braking the door next morning at 9am, since I told them off I never seen them again not even taking the rubish or getting clean towels to my room. My husban was cleaning the floor changing the bin bags, taking out rubish. I stayed there in this trash for two weeks, paid nearly $800 for this nightmare, on my last day I asked can I get a late chech out until 12 because I had to see my doctor - the black lady in the reception said that it’s not possible and asked me “why don’t u pack your staff right now?” I had no words to say anymore. Thank you and we Ieft the hotel at 11:30 and I took the business card, but nobody get back to me.

They give us a good/accessible price for this 2 week of work out of my house ... Our company send us to do a small job close to this hotel - So after searching around, we decided to stay at Studio 6 - and give them a B+
