The Art District On Santa Fe (A.D.S.F)took shape soon after artists in Denver who felt the pinch of rising rentals, started to move towards Santa Fe Drive. As luck would have it, this street gradually developed to become the epicenter of art in the city. As of today, in addition to art galleries, yoga studios, book shops, bars, eateries and radio stations too find themselves here much to the delight of tourists and art enthusiasts. tripadvisorSad to say but this area was deserted with many closed shops. It had a funky feel to it but we started to walk and then left as the galleries were closed and there was not really much to do. Not sure if this was because it was during the day or due to Covid.

MoreWe stopped in to the arts district for a quick visit. There are a number of shops and galleries. The best thing was all of the murals that were painted on a number of the buildings along the way. There were quite a few and most were pretty good.
MoreWe decided to go to the Art District on Santa Fe during a recent visit and we were very disappointed. We arrived about 11:00 Saturday morning and we only found one shop open. Many of the shops were empty or open by appointment only, most didn’t have any posted hours. We walked around for about 45 minutes then left.
Moreme and my husband read about the art district and decided to take a look at the galleries, turns out we visited on a Brunch Day and OMG this is such a cool idea!!! So the galleries are open for the public and they give you orange juice and fruit and bagels and some of them even had Mimosas! The art was magnificent, the galleries just kept getting better and better and everyone was so nice and welcoming. You can see how the artists work and see their studios, it’s an amazing experience!! We absolutely loved it
