For decades, I was a great fan of Boulder Dinner Theater. We have attended a few other regional dinner playhouses over the years but never found one of the same caliber. Finally made it to Candlelight Dinner Theater and was so happy and glad that I did! Now that BDT has closed it’s wonderful to know that there is this option for fine entertainment. Not only was the entire play done so well but the food and service was outstanding.Nice work Candlelight!

Very disappointed with the Matilda show the children actors were very good. The principal was totally sickening. The food service was bad; we waited over an hour for our food, when everyone around us had been served. The food was hardly edible; salmon dry and cold, the rice was mush and the cauliflower was over cooked and dry. The slice of cheesecake was only half the size of what it used to be. We won't ever buy season tickets again.

We just saw Anything Goes on opening night and it was absolutely outstanding! The entire cast was talented, but the performance of 'Blow, Gabriel, Blow' was the highlight for me—it practically had me out of my seat! The energy, the music, and the meal were all top-notch. Thank you, Candlelight, for another wonderful afternoon of theater.

The shows are loaded with wonderful actors. It’s the longest you will see the kiddos entertained. The orchestra is great. They do wonders to give you a great show. You will not be disappointed in any of the great shows they present. We always tried to go as often as we could as you would get great entertainment and food menu contained food choices the whole family enjoyed. We saw a menu change a few years ago that was very similar to the Boulder Dinner theater that eventually closed down after bad food reviews. We finally stop going when we realized we were stoping to get something to eat prior to the show or bringing food from outside to eat. We tried the show without the meal but it was not the same without enjoyable meal. We check the menu every once in a while to see if they have tried to improve the quality and selection of that we had enjoyed in the past but it hasn’t. So if you are looking for good entertainment and staff this is the place but if you are looking for delicious meal to enjoy with the show you will be disappointed the food along with the cost.

We really enjoyed Bright Star at the Candlelight. Every actor and singer was so talented. A good story and fun music. The band was incredible. Not a bad seat in the house. The food was mediocre, but the service was great. I had the vegan stuffed peppers that I did enjoy. Generous portions. My date had the meatloaf which was a bit dry and not very hot.
