Overpriced, Disgusting, and Completely UnacceptableOur experience was absolutely appalling. The first room we were given had to be changed immediately due to a strong fishy odor and lights throughout the room that did not work, aside from the bathroom light.Unfortunately, the second room was just as disgusting. The comforter and bedsheets had a STRONG scent of human body odor, the mattress had numerous brown stains, the couch had white, crusty, unidentified stains, and there was a strange oily substance smeared across the door. On top of that, one of the two microwaves did not even work.To make matters worse, no dishes or silverware were provided.The overall condition of these rooms was completely unacceptable, and the lack of cleanliness was genuinely revolting. I cannot believe we paid $300 for an experience like this. For that price, I expected basic cleanliness, working amenities, and a room that did not feel unsanitary.Absolutely not worth the money. DO NOT stay here.

My room smelled like death. Truly like the worst combination of hotel smells possible. It was somehow a blend of stale cigarettes, astringent chemical, armpit, and mold. I'm not even normally that sensitive to smells but this was an extreme case. Made the entire experience of my trip worse. Wish I would have spent double to stay literally anywhere else. What is having more money in your bank account if you're having a terrible time and can't sleep and dread going back to your hotel and worry that the ~bad smell~ will get on your clothes and people will think you smell weird. Don't stay here.

It is a very beautiful place and the workers are very friendly and room is a amazing love the space in the room,thanks to that lovely front desk young lady I think her Name is Brittany she always smiling she makes my day,looking to come back next month

It was clean, the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. I am in the Hartford area for business and it is nice to know I have a clean place that I can stay at.

Great option for a practical DayUse stayI booked the Comfort Inn & Suites East Hartford through DayUse for some downtime while I was working in the area, and overall I had a positive experience.The room was spacious and comfortable, with both a bed and a separate sitting area. For a DayUse stay, that extra space was nice because I wasn’t simply looking for a place to sleep—I wanted somewhere I could actually relax, shower, change, and recharge for a few hours. The room gave me plenty of space to do that comfortably.I also took advantage of the on-site laundry facilities. There is one washing machine and one dryer, so the laundry setup is limited, and I had to wait for the dryer to become available. All together, it took me about 1.5 hours to get my laundry done. Still, I really appreciated having the option available, especially during a longer work trip.The hotel is an older property, so don’t expect a modern or recently renovated aesthetic. There are definitely areas that could use some updating, but I found the overall environment comfortable and functional. I particularly liked the fireplace and seating area in the lobby—it gave the common area a cozy feel.For what I needed, this hotel worked well. It provided a comfortable room, privacy, a place to freshen up and relax, and useful amenities during the day.I’d recommend it for travelers looking for a practical DayUse option rather than a luxury hotel experience. Four stars for me.
