Wine Authorities is a small, independent wine store that focuses on small, family-owned wineries. There are no corporate or "fake-brands" in their selection. All of their wineries grow all of the grapes that go into their wine, so they are as much farmers as winemakers. There are no wines over $50, so the store is more committed to wine drinkers instead of wine collectors. The selection of wines has been pared down to less than 500, to make the store less overwhelming than typical wine stores and more comfortable for wine novices. However, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and can speak to wine experts with ease as well as regular folks without intimidating them.
