The artist's wife was at the gallery the day I visited. She was extremely nice and welcoming. I wish I could have purchased more of his prints / paintings. I love his work; he was very talented. Absolutely, would visit the gallery again next time I'm in town.

If you're in Jackson Square, it's a nice gallery right next to the beignet cafe. Lots of good artwork and the staff is friendly.

Great art work. Nice little art gallery. I bought a couple of paintings. I was told if your lucky sometimes the artist Shakor is there to sign your purchases. Very close to cafe du monde.

A nice art gallery right across from Jackson Square. Lots of great art works, set up nicely, with some outside and inside too. Prices seemed reasonable.
