Dedicated to preserving, protecting and restoring Buffalo's architectural heritage, this coalition sponsors various tours of the city as a way to defray the costs associated with their mission. In existence for two decades, the group hopes to educate both the public and government officials to better appreciate the parks, historical buildings, and neighborhoods that make Buffalo such a unique place. Past tours have included visits to historic Allentown as well as Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin D Martin House.

tripadvisorMy sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed the Queen City Downtown Tour with Marla. She is very knowledgeable about both architecture and history - we learned a lot and gained a deep appreciation for how the city of Buffalo has revitalized itself. This tour is well worth the time!
MoreA friend and I took the Queen City Downtown Tour last Saturday. Our tour guide Peter is a knowledgeable born-and-raised Buffalonian who'd worked as a structural engineer during his career and now volunteers for Preservation Buffalo Niagara. Peter was happy to adjust the tour to suit our interests and we loved the level of historical detail he was able to provide along with information about present day Buffalo. There are real architectural gems to see in Buffalo, and this tour was a great way for two people wholly unfamiliar with the city to see and learn lots over 2 hours.
