Berkeley Bowl West Cafe ·$$

Miss the farmer's market? It's okay, because Berkeley Bowl West is open seven days a week. Their prices are often cheaper than those at Whole Foods, and the parking is far tamer than at the original Berkeley Bowl South location. Additionally, this 2009-built marketplace offers not only legendary produce, but their sushi was voted "Best Supermarket Sushi" by the San Francisco Chronicle, and they do a $1 wine tasting every third Saturday of each month.

Took off one star from my last review for what has been my favorite grocery store for many years. Why? Because I've finally had it with the lackluster, tired attitude of most of the staff who work...

There is nothing like Berkeley Bowl. They have an endless amount of options and there is so much I want to try from here. I keep coming back for my usual pick ups and to see what's new.

The tofu was good. The Bulgogi was okay. The purple rice was pretty good. I Didn't really like the cucumbers and kimchi. The daikon and corn. I think it was pretty good. I love Japchae, it...
