Ichen Art Academy is the Bay Area's premier K-12 art education program, with in-person campuses in Fremont and Pleasanton, CA. Founded in 1997, we are the first K-12 art institute in the Bay Area to receive WASC accreditation (2022) and are an authorized College Board AP Studio Art provider. Our results speak for themselves: 100+ AP Studio Art score 5s since 2014. Fourteen ArtCenter Entertainment Design acceptances since 2020, including seven in 2025 alone. Twelve Harvard and Stanford acceptances. California's only National Gold Medal Portfolio recipient in 2025. We offer a systematic K-12 curriculum that develops students from first sketch to competitive college portfolio — Drawing & Sketch (Levels 1–3), Oil Painting, Watercolor, Chinese Painting & Calligraphy, Digital Art, AP Studio Art (Drawing, 2D Design, 3D Design), and College Portfolio Prep for art-major and non-art-major students. All instructors hold advanced degrees and active professional practices. Free trial class available for every new student. Schedule yours at ichenartacademy.com.
