tripadvisorIt was pretty quiet on a February afternoon. Still a very beautiful hike in Brown Season Well marked paths eased anxiety on a solo hike in a new place.
MoreGreat park with long trails, not too crowded, very peaceful... One big negative is increasingly frequent car break-ins in the parking lots, which at this point, will keep me away from a park that I’ve loved and hiked for years.
MoreWe're always looking for new hiking trails around Nashville and just tried Beaman Park Nature Center after finding it here on TripAdvisor. Nice walk with clearly marked trails. Saw a few water turtles sunning and an owl. Tree cover provided shade. Plan to walk here every time we are in Nashville.
MoreThis trail was fun! We only went about a mile in and a mile back out. The creek crossing provides a rope for stability, but it is not that deep. There is also a new bridge for an alternative to crossing the creek with the rope. We went first thing in the morning, but there was still a little bit of traffic going on for a weekday.
MoreQuiet area not far from Joleton and definitely a place you could hike all day if you wanted. We took a moderate trail that was around half a mile before it spilt off and didn't go too much farther due to the trail we wanted to continue on was muddy.I think it is fair to say it is a moderately challenging hiking trail but you definitely feel like you are in the deep woods here so make sure you take sunscreen and some bug spray.I think a great day could be spent just hiking the various trails here.
