Ridotto's mission since 1992 is the presentation of classical Concerts with a Touch of Theater, to bring outstanding quality to the chamber music stage and pair it with relevant touches of theater. The name Ridotto originates in Venice, where ridotti were spirited meeting places behind theatres. Ridotto is committed to include Long Island artists and performers and actively works with faculty and students of local Music Departments.
