tripadvisorShuttle to airport by William Le was a half hour wait. He enjoyed talking with his friend while we sat longer with very little air. This guy is taking advantage of his employer and it cost you a customer.Front desk didn't care.
MoreOne night stay due to flying early morning out of SNA. Hotel lobby is pretty nice however the rooms are dated and showing their age as you can see in the pictures. Popcorn ceiling. Water pressure on the shower is good however the bathroom is tiny, the door hits the shower curtains so not a lot of space. Bedding is comfortable. Was not able to use the TV but pretty big one. Breakfast is a bit on the expensive side 30 dollars for hot breakfast and 20 if i remember well for continental. Overpriced, the highlight was that they do regular eggs, or the bag ones with some veggies which I never see in any other chains but overall the typical american breakfast. Good fruits, lots of berries, strawberries and blue berries with greek yogurt. My breakfast was complimentary but still 30 dollars for the basic options is steep. Parking is also 42 dollars when other hotel parking is around 22 bucks for the night.
MoreBooked this as a staycation after tickets fell through for the Daisy Chain Fields festival - during one of the hottest and most humid weekends in Orange County. I was extremely, extremely grateful for the air conditioning, and the complimentary lemon infused ice water. Marissa checked me in during my stay and helpfully suggested that I enroll in Hilton Honors, which discounted my parking and provided me free basic wi-fi access. I had three devices - laptop, phone and tablet and I didn’t notice any lag or network disruptions while working/checking my email. The room was nice and clean on arrival, but there was an odd smell - which I found out was due to two coffee sachets propped up on the air conditioning unit - I thought they were charcoal dehumidifying packets at first, it was only when I made coffee later and recognized the sachet.Room came with these amenities - mini fridge tucked behind a wood panel, a large TV, self-serve coffee station, a night light option in the bathroom, crab tree & evelyn branded shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion mounted on the wall, hair dryer, and an ironing board inside the closet, along with a safe. I also received two free bottles of water at check in.There are blackout curtains behind regular curtains, a tiny balconette behind the sliding door, but for safety reasons, do not slide. I was on the sixth floor so I felt like I had a good view and an optimal amount of sunshine and light. It made my room feel airy and spacious.I booked a king sized bed, and for my Goldilocks sleeping standards, it was just the right amount of firmness - which felt great after a long day of exploring and driving. If you’ve read this far in the review, congratulations. I’m autistic and I have some sensory issues so I am very particular about certain details but also understanding that sometimes things just happen that I can’t control. Two issues I had with my room were: while the A/C was a lifesaver during this trip, it had a habit of starting and stopping, I only really noticed this at night. It was almost like a white noise machine - but again, as the A/C worked the entire time, this is a small matter. Water temperature in the shower - the one time it was actually cold was in the morning on my last day. Otherwise the temperature was very hot or warm, even with me turning the faucet all the way to cold. Overall, I had a pleasant stay - the staff were friendly and accommodating, the A/C mostly perfect and I got to escape from my non A/C regulated home environment for a relaxing weekend.
