The location was perfect for visiting the rock and roll hall of fame. I wish I could have stayed longer because there was more to do around there that I didn’t know about and all walkable.

We drove from Beckley West Virginia to Cleveland to stay for two nights at the Hampton Inn. Upon arrival parking outside the hotel was extremely difficult on the busy road to unload and check in at reception. The hotel operates a valet service at a premium of $55 per day. We chose this hotel as it was well presented and in a good location for visitor attractions. Our first evening we had drinks in the hotel bar just off of reception, very expensive and spoilt by the noisy receptionists having fun now the day had quietened down. Buffet breakfast was included and was good. On our departure following our two night stay unfortunately we waited together with other guests nearly 20 minutes for our car to be collected by the one busy valet collecting cars one at a time from the nearby car park. The joys of city hotels!

Great location and very walkable area. Bartenders are very friendly so this next part excludes the bar. Staff across the board was terrible with hospitality! Here are my reasons for that statement 1. I stayed for 2 nights, the lady laughed at me when I went to the desk to check in since I had a mobile key I guess she thought it was funny2. The vending machines ONLY take $1 bills, no $5 no $10 and no tap3. Very rude when I requested singles in exchange for $20 bill stating “we don’t usually do that in the evening you’ll need to come back in the morning” ….4. Needed toilet paper at 5am the lady at the desk said “it would be easier for me if you could just come down and get it I can’t really leave the desk”…. Had to get dressed in order to go get the toilet paper 5. FINALLY It took 40 minutes for the valet to come back with my car…. Not sure where they are parking the cars…also managed to burn through 50 miles on my gas mileage just by parking and returning it 6. There was a long black hair in the bathroom sink when we first arrived7. I needed a physical room key for my partner to use, when I went to request it the lady said “this guy again it’s all day long with him” mind you I haven’t complained to them at all yet this review is the first complaint they’ve heard from me but I will be calling corporate once I arrive home!! I can’t believe this is how they treat guests and especially loyal guests I am a platinum Hilton member. All and all not the best stay due to the staff seemingly inconvenienced to do the job they signed up for…

Check in was good. Don’t book with Expedia! Always get a room by the elevator. Right off elevator. Room was ok. Floors could use a vacuum. Hair on bathroom floor beside toilet and bed counter and by tv, here and there. Room faced the front, very noisy at night on the street. Had to use parking garage around the corner on Rockwell, or u can use expensive valet, don’t know where those cars go. Bar didn’t open till after 9 in hotel. Dogs in two rooms to our right. We got to breakfast late not much left, food was cold. Doors shut at 10 am. We reserved a king bed and got two queens. Not a good stay and I works not stay there again.

I have been in hundreds of hotels but rarely have I met such a friendly group of staff members! Everyone acted truly happy to see you.There were tons of outlets and USB ports, and the property is close to so many places—everything is about a 10 minute walk.The only issue was that we weren’t sure where to park. The hotel does have valet parking but there are also 2 garages nearby.
