Reviews
tripadvisorHistoric area of Raleigh with mostly empty stores. We left after 15 minutes nothing to see or do except a few bars.
MoreJust found the city market, it is a tiny bit of old Raleigh preserved, you can walk a cobbled street and eat at Big Ed's where mid century (20th) America still lives (with a better attitude). Still in the covid wind-down so many shop fronts are still empty, but I hope Raleigh has the sense to keep this place for the future generations to enjoy. Peace and comfort from skyscrapers and bustle.
MoreIt was a good experience. Lots of tents with different vendors and lots of vintage things toys, clothing, cassette, vanilla disc and disc player, shoes, porcelain, jewel. They had Good prices.
MoreThis is a historic market downtown but has lost a lot of it's shops since Covid 19. Many of the interesting shops have gone out of business. There are several restaurants still in business but not much else.Needs some revitalization.
MoreNot a great place to shop or do business, lots of better locations in Downtown. Avoid parking there too extremely dangerous parking lot with no security.
