tripadvisorThe Ultimate Elvis Celebration. August 17. We sat in row F on the isle. I give the show an “F” rating. My husband and I spent over $100.00 to attend. The band was pretty good but the sound system that was used was very distorted and extremely loud. It was very uncomfortable to listen to. I do not know who set up the sound system, but it was just so BAD. The Elvis impersonator sounded absolutely nothing like ELVIS, but he sang many of his hit songs. We just could not stand the show, and would have left after the third song, but out of courtesy, we left at the intermission. We are not going to attend concerts at this venue again because of the very poor sound system.
MoreRecently attended Thrasher Horne for Brass Transit, a tribute to Chicago. You could not understand the singer at all. He sang 90% of all the songs which made it not very enjoyable. Wondering if anyone else experienced this. Would never spend that kind of money for such an unprofessional performance.
MoreWe had a wonderful time attending the Nutcracker ballet at this theater. It is a lovely space. Seats are comfortable. Ushers and staff are delightful! We brought our 2 year old grandson and there were booster seats to borrow at the coat check, which helped him see better. The show was still visible from the lobby, when we had to take “wiggle” breaks. One of the staff saw our busy toddler and offered a lollipop! Bathrooms are equipped with a changing station. Highly recommend this facility for family friendly shows.
MoreKind attentive ushers & staff. Beautiful auditorium . Plenty of handicapped parking. Great show . Sound system great.
MoreWe went to an oldies concert here and the lobby area was overcrowded to the extent that it was a fire hazard. The area around the restrooms is extremely poorly designed in that both are located next to each other and accessed via a very small hallway. On the day of the concert the area adjacent to the hallway and the lobby was blocked by display tables/tables to sign people up for future concerts. Therefore at intermission you had 1730 senior citizens trying to cram into this small area to either enter/leave the restrooms and or get to the display tables. It was elbow to elbow, chest to chest congestion and if there ever was a fire or shooting a lot of people would be injured or dead due to the inability to move in any direction. My chair in the theater was partially broken and the sound system was not very good.
